The Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park Authority (BB TNBTS) has officially reopened the Mount Semeru hiking trail up to the Ranu Kumbolo area via the Ranu Pane entrance. Hikers must comply with all updated regulations.
Key Requirements:
Minimum age: 10 years old; hikers over 70 must provide a doctor’s recommendation.
Under 17s must present parental consent and a copy of their Family Card.
A valid medical certificate (issued within 1 day before the hike) is mandatory.
Online registration and payment must be completed no later than 2 days before the hike, within a 1-hour time slot.
Group and Guide Regulations:
Group size: 2–10 people.
Each group must be accompanied by a certified local guide from PPGST
Entry Fees:
Local hikers: IDR 78,000–98,000 depending on weekday/weekend schedule.
International visitors: IDR 440,000 for two days.
All bookings must be made through bromotenggersemeru.id. Hikers are encouraged to prepare physically and administratively to ensure a safe and sustainable experience.
